case studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Until 2022,<\/strong> the rule was simple: if a piece of content had been copied, a canonical tag with the address of the correct content was indicated to Google (in 20 years I&#8217;ve only seen one group do this properly!).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Since 2023<\/strong> Google has made it official to use the NOINDEX for this type of content sharing \/ syndication (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.abondance.com\/20230712-71952-google-recommande-noindex-contenus-actualites-syndiques.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">source<\/a>) and even Canonical \/ noindex variants for special cases (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.seroundtable.com\/google-noindex-canonical-tags-35280.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">source<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Our_advice\"><\/span>Our advice :<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>In the age of GPT chat, content duplication should no longer exist&#8230;;-)<\/li>\n<li>use of a similarity rate of less than 10% is strongly recommended to ensure that content is indexed (always more than 350 words minimum \/ 650 recommended)<\/li>\n<li>We are now delivering our &#8220;platform references&#8221; And we&#8217;ve never had any problems or alerts about duplicate content, even with media sites of higher authority than the group. I&#8217;ve also never had any problems with SEO and the positioning of the article on the Group&#8217;s site. Google accepts this type of duplicate content. This involves a thorough check of the validity of claims, in order to protect the creators of legitimate content while respecting copyright.<\/p>\n<p>The move comes after repeated criticism of Google&#8217;s handling of DMCA complaints. Google is facing pressure from content creators who feel that their videos and works are being unfairly removed or demonetised. These new measures are designed to restore creators&#8217; confidence in the platform.<\/p>\n<p>By taking these measures, Google is demonstrating its desire to preserve its own reputation while ensuring better protection of copyright and a fairer user experience.
